Legendary Chicago Blackhawks broadcaster Pat Foley took in a Chicago Cubs vs Detroit Tigers game and led the crowd in singing baseball's all time favorite song Take Me Out to the Ball Game.

While singing the song, fans noticed that Foley was wearing a Troy Murray Cubs jersey which was on backwards. Murray was also a broadcaster with the Chicago Blackhawks as a colour analyst on NBC Sports.

According to Wikipedia, Foley began his interest in 1964 when he was allowed to be at the radio booth of Wrigley Field and sat with announcers Lou Boudreau and Jack Quinlan. This action became the driving force for Foley to become a play-by-play commentator.

He began his career with the Grand Rapids Owls, which led to his hiring to the Chicago Blackhawks in 1981. His first stint with the Blackhawks stretched from 1981 through 2006 but was then fired as he had a rift between himself and Chicago's management.

After Bill Wirtz passed away in 2008, Foley returned to the broadcast booth to which he led the Blackhawks through one of the greatest moments in their history winning 3 Stanley cups during the Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews era.

His last official game was on April 14th 2022 after spending 39 years with the Blackhawks organization. It's always a great sightseeing fully participate in Chicago and area sports.
