Chicago Blackhawks starting Goalie for preseason matchup vs Detroit announced

But former Red Wing, Petr Mrazek will be battling the Red Wings, as the starting netminders tonight.
Mrazek has proven himself to earn the Blackhawks starting spot this season, as he kept the Blackhawks in many contests they had no business being in.
Mrazek, who arguably may be past his true prime, has found a new wind in Chicago, as he helps propel the rebuild forward, and gives the team a fighting chance.

He would make his way to the Blackhawks with the 25th overall pick in 2022(Sam Rinzel) and not only has he provided a stable backstop, but helped add to the Blackhawks prospect pool.
His record in 2023-2024 was 18-31-4, with a 3.03 GAA, and an .908 save percentage behind a terrible Blackhawks team.
