Connor Bedard reveals he doesn't care about ex-Blackhawk Patrick Kane
Patrick Kane is a highly respected NHL player, having won 3 Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks. Kane continues to contribute actively, now playing for the Detroit Red Wings, aiming to help them secure a playoff spot.
While Kane's career is ongoing, it has already set a standard for many players in the league.
Connor Bedard, one of these players, was asked about Kane in an interview.
Bedard doesn't mind comparisons but acknowledges their careers will likely diverge as he forges his own path, and it seems like he does not care too much about the comparisons being made:
«I don't care too much what people say. If I can be anything like him, that's pretty great, the career he had. I'm my own person and player and everything, so I'll do what I do and he does what he does.»
In his first year with the Blackhawks, Kane played all 82 games, scoring 21 goals and notching 51 assists for a total of 72 points. Since then, he has played 1,205 NHL games, scoring 461 goals and making 800 assists, totaling 1,261 points in his career.
