Darren Pang's Start With the Blackhawks: 40 years ago today
Darren Pang has a long history with the Chicago Blackhawks, as he started his NHL career on August 15, 1984.
He would play 1 game for the Blackhawks in 1984, playing a full 60 minutes and ending the night with a 4.00 GAA, and a .818 save percentage.
He would later be sent to the minors, until his ascent back into the NHL during the 1987-1988 season.
He'd play 45 games with the Blackhawks that year, with a 17-23-1 record, 3.84 GAA, and a .891 save percentage.
He'd spend one more year in the NHL, with the Blackhawks playing 35 games, a 10-11-6 record, and a 4.38 GAA and a .869 save percentage before spending the last two seasons of his professional hockey career in the IHL.
