Former Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford disrespected by the NHL
Bleacher Report released an article detailing whom they consider the Top Ten Goalies in the NHL since the 2000s.
The list would contain some predictable names, like Henrik Lundqvist, Marc-Andre Fleury, Andrei Vasilevskyi, and Martin Brodeur.
Even Pekka Rinne, who has never won a Stanley Cup got a nod on this list, which reveals even more of a recency bias since Rinne retired not too long ago.
Even Linus Ullmark is on the list, of course, who only broke out, once he arrived in Boston.
But who is missing? Corey Crawford!
Crawford is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion, and started his career in the Blackhawks, in the AHL spending five years with the IceHogs.
His chance to play with the Hawks would come in 2010-2011, he'd play 57 games with a 33-18-6 record, 2.30 GAA and a .917 save percentage.
He would later help lead the Blackhawks to Stanley Cup Championships in 2013 and 2015.
His NHL totals are as follows 488 GP, 9 A, 18 PIMs, 260-162-53, 2.45 GAA, .918 save percentage and 26 shutouts.
