Legendary voice of NHL broadcast and formerly Blackhawks' son joins Utah NHL for 2024-25 season
Utah HC has hired an on-air analyst away from the Seattle Kraken.
Nick Olczyk is leaving Seattle and his family, including his dad Eddie, to join the newest NHL expansion team, Utah HC, as their first on-air analyst.
Nick spent the last two seasons with the Kraken. Before that, he worked with the Chicago Blackhawks and their ECHL affiliate, the Indy Fuel, alongside his dad.
Olczyk is another former Blackhawks professional making his mark in the NHL as a color analyst.
He also played 17 games for the Colorado College Tigers but left in 2019 to pursue a career in broadcasting, citing lack of ice time as the reason.
