Major member of the Chicago Blackhawks makes official return to the ice
Chicago Blackhawks fans have reason to celebrate today as key player Andreas Athanasiou returned to the ice for practice.
Blackhawks broadcaster Joe Brand expressed his excitement, stating:
"Great to see Andreas Athanasiou &
Anthony Beauvillier too. First time we've seen Athanasiou on the ice in awhile."
This marks a significant step forward for Athanasiou, as it's the first time he's skated since suffering a groin injury back in November (3+ months).
His return brings hope and anticipation for his contributions to the team moving forward as they are deeply struggling in the offensive department.
With his presence back on the ice, Blackhawks fans can look forward to seeing him in action once again soon.
