The Blackhawks are set to have their home opener on October 17th in which the Wirtz corporation will unveil new food in celebration of the 30-year anniversary of the United Center.

It's been 30 years since the United Center opened its doors on August 18th, 1994. Many great moments have been shared including the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks and numerous other events that have been shown throughout the years.

Prior to the opener, the new food was on display at a media tasting event as local deli's and other restaurants are showing off their creations. Options like the Queenie's double white cheddar burger, Ora king salmon, numerous steak meals and the Berkshire bone in pork chop and the crispy chicken and pimento cheese sandwich.

Food is important component for any fans experience and over the last number of years, stadiums and arenas have been attempting to bolster the fan experience through food, entertainment and the product on the ice or basketball court.

Beverages are another part of the experience, and it appears the Blackhawks are serving now a 24 oz hockey stick of beer which is new to the lineup at Chicago Pours.

With the Blackhawks rebuilding, the fans have been coming in droves as renewed hope has been restored to the franchise with the Connor Bedard era in full swing.

If the Bulls and the Blackhawks can continue to build up their rosters, it's all but certain that more fans will continue to experience the sports and the food that looks delicious.
