Former Chicago Blackhawk legend, Patrick Kane will begin his 2nd season with the Detroit Red Wings.

2024-2025, will likely be the season we see Kane the healthiest he's been in quite some time since he left for New York at the end of the 2023 NHL season.

His stay in New York was short, not sweet and he felt he left a lot on ice. Whereas it seems under the leadership of Derek Lalonde and Steve Yzerman, Patrick Kane has found a new home in the NHL.

These videos below show Kane in training camp, not only showing off, but showing his leadership skills, and the kind of enthusiasm we miss here in Chicago.

In this video we can see him work his silky hands, easily deceiving the goalie and scoring on him.

The moves were typical showtime, as he undressed #33 Sebastian Cossa, who is in a world of pain if he can't figure out someone like Patrick Kane.

In the second video, we can see Kane working his magic, and his mouth as "Showtime" looks like he's back in Hockeytown!

Kane will definitely need to be healthy, if the Red Wings want to make it to the post-season, as their defensive depth, isn't that deep, and their goalie core is lacking in starting goalies.

Sure Cam Talbot is a decent addition, but you need a backstop like Sergei Bobrovsky or Jeremy Swayman if you're going to go that route.

It is exciting to see Kane healthy and ready for a new season though and hopefully, he and the Red Wings can make it a game, against the newest version of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Patrick Kane played 51 games for the Detroit Red Wings in 2023-2024, scoring 47 points(20 G, 27 A), and will be a key piece for the team this season.
