According to court records, Higgins has a history of criminal offenses, including multiple traffic violations.

His record includes charges for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, drinking alcohol in a vehicle, having an open alcoholic container in a vehicle, improper passing, and making unsafe lane changes, as reported by the Columbus Dispatch.
