Alex DeBrincat Gets Disrespected in Return to His Former Team

The boos raining down on Alex DeBrincat at the Canadian Tire Center raised questions about the source of the fans' frustration.

The GM initially traded for DeBrincat without securing a contract extension and then had to trade him to the Detroit Red Wings.

DeBrincat's day back at the Canadian Tire Center took a physical toll as well, with a thunderous hit from Ottawa Senators' Ridley Greig that sent him to the ice.

Somehow, that clean hit laid on DeBrincat resulted in a roughing penalty, and fans are not too pleased.
