It looks like the Western University Women's Hockey team is in trouble, as they plan on boycotting hockey games in the wake of recent allegations.

This could have disastrous consequences for the university's next game against the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.

Multiple players have made allegations of improper conduct against head coach Candice Moxley and Western's strength and conditioning coach Jeff Watson.

Allegations made by players against Moxley include claims that she pressured players to play through injuries and did not act when players told her about Watson's alleged misconduct. Also allegations that Moxley did not act following multiple complaints from players that they were being harassed by Watson.

Despite allegations from multiple players on the women's hockey team, coach Candace Moxley was recently reinstated.

Because of this, hockey team members are threatening to boycott not only practices but also games, since they feel that the university doesn't care about their safety.

It appears that the players do not trust the university or the process to deliver fair results because they did not believe the investigation was fair or transparent.

Will this blow up in the universities face?
