BREAKING: Former NHL Legendary Enforcer Dead at 52
The hockey world is mourning the loss of a legend who enforced the game of hockey like no other. former Vancouver Canuck, New York Islander, Philadelphia Flyer and Montreal Canadiens enforcer Gino Odjick has sadly passed away at the age of 52.
Gino has been battling health issues since 2014 when he was diagnosed with Amyloidosis, which affects the organs. Back in 2014, he was only given weeks to live and has fought through it all.
The disease sadly fought back harder in 2020 and he has been sadly battling through it since.
Very sad news as Gino Odjick has passed away at the age of 52.
1 of my favourite players all-time, 1 of the most popular players in franchise history.
RIP Gino.
They don't make em' like they used too, Gino was sure tough as nails.
