As of November 30th, Corey Perry's contract with the Chicago Blackhawks had been terminated.

Perry has not been in an NHL uniform since Kyle Davidson and the Chicago Blackhawks parted ways with him.

Due to an incident that occurred before the game that day, the team removed him from the roster before the 7-3 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on November 22nd.

Kyle Davidson said he would keep the information about what happened between Pery and a team employee confidential. Following the termination of Perry's contract, Davidson has established a precedent that the team will not be the same organization that handled the Kyle Beach incident poorly.

He then released a statement making his apologies to the team and seeking professional advice to help him with his alcohol addiction.

Due to the termination of his contract, he is now an unrestricted free agent, and after meeting with Gary Bettman, he is permitted to return to the NHL.

We'll see who takes a swoop at the veteran pest, Perry once again.
