The Arizona Coyotes have been in a rebuild that seems to have gone on for over a decade without much of a difference made, but they look like they might be on the right track with a lot of top prospects and a shot of drafting Connor Bedard if they win the NHL Draft Lottery.
The Coyotes are expected to be very busy at the deadline yet again moving players that can return picks or prospects. One name that's constantly been talked about is the Coyotes best defencemen Jokob Chychrun.
The 24 year-old has been in numerous rumours over the past few weeks, especially after he removed all affiliation with the Arizona Coyotes off his social media. Well it looks like Chychrun will finally be traded any time today, tomorrow or very soon after it was revealed Chychrun was made a healthy scratch Saturday night vs the St Louis Blues due to "trade related reasons".
ROSTER UPDATE: Coyotes D Jakob Chychrun is a healthy scratch tonight versus the St. Louis Blues due to trade related reasons. F Liam O'Brien is day to day with an upper body injury. Defensemen Victor Soderstrom & Dysin Mayo have been recalled from the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL). This is exciting news, as a fan you have to wonder where he's going to end up? With at least half a dozen teams that have been inquiring about him there's plenty of spots he could end up.
