BREAKING - St.Louis Blues Star Forward Will Be Testing The Free Agent Market
The St.Louis Blues leading goal scorer David Perron will officially be testing the free agent market. The 34 year old shows no signs whatsoever of declining or slowing down and has only seemed to improve from each home he has hopped to over the last few years, Perron was on pace to smash his career high in goals, assists and total points this season but sadly missed 15 games due to a minor injury.
Perron looks to bring his scoring ability to a contender while also getting a nice pay day as deserved, he is coming off a 4 year deal where he signed with the St.Louis Blues that was only at a cap hit of $4 million- a true steal of a contract! Perron produced 27 goals this season which has him above or the same amount of goals as some big dollar players such as: Brayden Point, John Tavares, Patrick Kane, Jack Hughes, Nikita Kucherov and even Patrice Bergeron.
The cap space situation in St.Louis is a mess at the moment, not leaving enough money to give Perron what he deserves as well as there now former rising star rookie goaltender Ville Husso, who was traded to the Detroit Red Wings which he then signed a steal of a deal at $4.75 million per season!
