Blackhawk's Coach Comments on Connor Murphys Possible Return of This Season..
Connor Murphy was driven awkwardly into the boards by Ottawa Senators Parker Kelly on March 12, 2022. A scary scene unfolded as Murphy was unconscious on the ice for quite some time, and he had to be stretchered out. Murphy did give a thumbs up to the crowd that was standing up in worry for the Blackhawk's defenseman.
Connor Murphy has missed 6 weeks recovering from the incident that took place last month, and has made great progress. The main question, is it worth it for him to return with the Blackhawk's season already over and risk another injury?
The Blackhawk's definitely miss the 6 foot 4 defenseman, but for his health- it may not be the best idea to return.
