In his second game back after returning from an ankle injury, Tyler Johnson wasn't on the bench in the third period against the Vegas Golden Knights last night. After a 4-1 loss, Luke Richardson told the media that Johnson's ankle is sore. Whether he'll play tonight against the Minnesota Wild has yet to be determined.
In his two games back, Johnson scored one goal against the Washington Capitals. He has seven points (3G, 4A) in eight games played this season.
Johnson is considered to be a game time decision tonight, but that decision will likely be no. Having him play with an injury flare up sounds like a risky decision, but we'll find out more tonight.
