The Blackhawks finally received some good news on the injury front after losing multiple players during the preseason and training camp.
Forward Boris Katchouk is fully participating in practice without a non-contact jersey for the first time since suffering his injury. Luke Richardson said that Katchouk will likely need a few more practices before seeing some game action, but could return in a week or so.
Defenseman Connor Murphy and forward Jason Dickinson were both noticeably absent from practice. It was later confirmed that both players only missed practice due to maintenance days, which is good news for the Blackhawks as they prepare for tonight's game against the Florida Panthers.
