Blackhawks Player Refusing to be Traded to Canada?
The Chicago Blackhawks are quickly going to fall apart even more before they know it as the NHL's trade deadline is quickly approaching (March 3rd). Many players are on the horizon of being traded, but will Kyle Davidson be able to receive good value, while working around his players no-trade clauses?
Another Blackhawk who is almost certain to be dealt, and has recently spoken out stating he's tired of playing on losing teams is defensemen
Jake McCabe.
It appears as if the Blackhawks and McCabe will be working on rehoming the veteran defensemen, one team that's been linked to his services is the Edmonton Oilers, but it appears that McCabe may refuse a trade there.
Sportnet's Elliotte Friedman, who is always bang on with his reports stated he isn't convinced that Jake McCabe wants to play in Canada, EVER. McCabe has a 7-team no trade list, and he has reported that those 7 teams could be each and every Canadian franchise.
