If the Chicago Blackhawks didn't have bad luck they would have no luck at all. Chicago is going to be a bottom feeder this year most likely as they enter one of the harshest stages of their rebuild, being so thin in terms of top level NHL calibre players already puts them at a disadvantage and it looks like things just got worse.
According to the Hawks social media they are going to be without forwards Jujhar Khaira and Boris Katchouk to start the season, however one injury is more severe than the other
Khaira, is listed as day to day which means it's more likely that he's back in the starting lineup for the start of the regular season. Which is good news considering how his season went last year.
katchouk is a little bit of a different story, the young forward will be sidelined anywhere between 4 and 6 weeks which is a major blow to the hawks who struggle offensively.
Let's hope for both their sakes that they heal faster then expected
