It appears that Blackhawks defenseman Jarred Tinordi Has the worst luck this year when it comes to injuries. In December, he took a gruesome injury to the face whenever he was hit by a puck which happened to be a slapshot.

It required him to have facial reconstruction surgery. And throughout the year he's also had issues with his hip.

This has been going on for several months and may require this to be fixed over the offseason. Whether that surgery or extensive physiotherapy remains to be seen. But one thing is for certain this defenceman is quite a tough man to deal with all this in one season.

The 31-year-old left-side defender is the son of former NHL player Mark Tinordi. Jarred Was drafted in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft first round, 22nd overall. He is played with six different organizations including the Montreal Canadiens Nashville Predators and the New York Rangers.

He has played 42 games, scored two goals and six assists for eight points and holds 38 penalty minutes.

The Blackhawks' next game will be at home against the Dallas Stars. The game will be on Tuesday, March 28th, game time will be at 8:30 PM eastern
