Before tonight's game against the Dallas Stars, Blackhawks goaltender Alex Stalock probably felt he would have a standard game against the Stars.

That was not the case, as Stalock had a run-in with the referee that he battled with a death stare along with running his mouth constantly about a call that was missed.

Stalock was run over by Stars forward Luke Glendening, but there was no call. After many minutes, Stalock refused to let the mistake go and was jawing at the referee.

Then during the TV timeout, Stalock was doing his stretches and stared with eyes of fire toward the referees and refused to stop. This goaltender was not letting this go.

Further along in the game, the situation reached a boiling point when Stalock wouldn't let the referees have one inch about this missed call. As a result, Peter Mrazek was brought in to finish the game for the Hawks.

It's pretty rare to see a goaltender ejected from a game, normally you see this due to a fight or a head coach going to battle against a referee.

Maybe the referees were trying to make an example of him it's hard to say.

One thing is for sure though, it certainly put a new spice to the game that raised the eyebrows of several fans.
