Breaking news regarding Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook
Regarding defensive pairings, Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook have been considered one of the best in the Chicago Blackhawks' history.
In the past year, the two have played 1,000 games together, won three Stanley Cups together, and have since moved on to other things.
Former Chicago Blackhawks players Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook will be inducted together into the British Columbia Hockey Hall of Fame this weekend.
Keith now works for the Edmonton Oilers, and Seabrook had to retire after a back injury forced him to retire from the game in 2020-2021.
In 2010, the duo won the Olympic Gold medal. It's appropriate that they are now nominated together for the B.C. Hockey Hall of Fame.
Before being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2002, Keith, originally from Winnipeg, moved to Okanagan and played for the Penticton Panthers of the BCHL. Seabrook was drafted by the Blackhawks a year later in 2003.
After playing in the NHL for 15 years, Seabrook posted 661 points and played 1,114 games, marking the end of his career.
