Alex Debrincat was the only Chicago Blackhawk participating in this years All Star Game. The event was held in Las Vegas, home of the Golden Knights. It was their first time to host an all star game. Lets be honest, some of the antics had Vegas 'over the top ideologies' and gimmicks, but it was still fun to see the NHL stars shine.

The fans get to vote in their favorite players, Kane and Marc Andre Fleury were not participating this year. Slight indications of how the season has been going so far, for the Hawks. But none the less, Debrincat represented the Hawks well, and you could tell he was having a blast.

Debrincat was able to participate in the breakaway challenge. Each participant has to come up with some cheeky plays, that were then voted upon by guests (Jon Hamm and Mark Messier to name a few).
Debrincat's attempt was awesome. Drawing upon the infamous movie, The Hangover, he dressed up as Alan and incorporated Vegas QB Derek Carr. You have to see it to believe it, but its pretty impressive. He even gets the shot off with the football. Anybody who has tried that on the ice, knows for sure its clumsy. So, kudos to Debrincat for drawing up the play, and actually succeeding! Debrincat did not end up winning the challenge, as some home town favoritism was used to help the Knights Pietroangelo win. Its too bad, because Trevor Zegras had a mind blowing, blindfolded goal that just defied logic and gravity.

'[I was] playing with some new guys obviously very skilled players and I had a blast out there,'' he said Saturday. 'It gets you away from [your] regular routine, and you get to have some fun with some guys. It was . . . a great time.'

The All Star Game itself, was filled with offense. 3 on 3 will do that to you.
Debrincat was a stud, scoring 2 goals and 1 assist in the Central's first game versus the Atlantic. This helped the Central win the first series.
He was held scoreless in the Central's final game versus the Metropolitan. (He would have had 3 goals, but had a goal was called back due to the replay showing it was offsides).
His first goal was cheeky, sniping top shelf on one of the best goalies in the world. Granted, the defense in All Star Games isn't on point, but still...

His second goal was made easy by Kirill the Thrill. The play should remind many Hawks fans of the Kane to Cat plays this year.
