Tim Tebow's career has been quite interesting. He began as a star college quarterback, winning a Heisman Trophy as an underclassman and leading his team to 2 BCS National Championships.

Despite his success, his attempt to pursue a career in Major League Baseball did not go as planned, and he ended up playing in the minor leagues.

- which opens next month.

Unlike other double-sport players such as Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson, and "Neon" Deion Sanders, he was not able to make it to the top in both sports.

Recently, there have been reports that the former Denver Broncos and New York Jets quarterback is planning to bring an ECHL franchise to Lake Tahoe in Nevada.

He will co-own the franchise with David Hodges of the Hodges Management Group LLC, which is based in Georgia and owns three car dealerships.

The Tahoe Blue Event Center will be the home to the future ECHL, featuring a 4,200-seat arena that will be run by Zawyer Sports and Entertainment. This entertainment company also manages the Savannah Ghost Pirates and Jacksonville Iceman, and Tebow is a minority owner of both franchises.

There is currently no official team name or NHL affiliation for the franchise, as the team has yet to decide on its colors and uniforms.
