Former Blackhawk on his Best Stint of his Career
The Blackhawks are really going to miss him. We, as fans, have missed him since the day he was traded... Brandon Hagel.
At last year's trade deadline, the Tampa Lightning and Chicago Blackhawks made a trade. The Hawks traded Brandon Hagel to Tampa for Boris Katchouk, Taylor Raddysh, and two first round picks for the year's 2023 and 2024.
The return wasn't bad at all for the young winger, especially considering how well Taylor is panning out, another young winger. But Hagel has been on a great stretch, being nearly a point per game player for the past 8-10 games. His total points throughout these past games is 9 points, with four goals within the last seven days.
It sucks that they shipped him out of the Windy City to the Lightning, but at least Brandon got a taste of the playoffs, something he wouldn't have gotten anytime soon here in Chicago.
