Great News for Kirby Dach!
The Montreal Canadiens are currently undergoing a rebuild, with Kent Hughes at the helm. Last season, they acquired Kirby Dach from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for picks #13 and #66 in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, which was used to select Frank Nazar and Gavin Hayes.
Dach got off to a great start with the Canadiens last season, but his performance tapered off due to injuries that caused him to miss 16 games.
Despite this setback, he still managed to score 14 goals and record 24 assists for a total of 38 points in 58 games.
According to CapFriendly, Dach is now fully recovered and ready to return to the lineup. He hopes to pick up where he left off last season when he spent most of his time on the same line as Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki.
The Canadiens are not finished with their rebuilding efforts, but they will be looking to take a big step forward as a team once again.
