Have negotations with the Blackhawks Philip Kurashev stopped?
According to reports, the Chicago Blackhawks and forward Philip Kurashev have not agreed on a new contract.
Unfortunately, it seems that Kurashev and the Chicago Blackhawks are not in agreement regarding the figures for the contract negotiations.
Powers reports that #Blackhawks forward Philipp Kurashev filed for a one-year contract with a $2.65 million AAV. Chicago countered with a two-year deal with a $1.4 million AAV. We'll see where it ends up. I guessed 2 years between $2-2.25 million on

, FWIW. As Kurashev has not signed his qualifying offer yet, the negotiations have reached a standstill.
According to Scott Powers of The Athletic, Pat Brisson, the agent of Kurashev, said they will be taking the arbitration route on the 20th. It appears that the disagreement over the additional $1.25 million couldn't be resolved amicably, and now a neutral third party will have to decide.
