Hawks Prospect Stuns Everyone in First World Juniors Game (VIDEO)
The Chicago Blackhawks currently have five players in the World Junior showcase tournament, where each country will select their best players within a certain age limit.
Blackhawks prospect Landon Slaggert didn't hesitate to make himself known, assisting on team USA's first goal in the entire tournament!
Oh, you thought he was done?
He didn't stop there, one period later, he scored a sneaky goal!!
That was technically his second goal of the night, as his other one wasn't fully credited to himself. Make that 3 points for Slaggert, in 2 periods of play. Nobody expected the late round pick to have this much of a impact, and he's already leading team USA in the point column!
Blackhawks beat writer Greg Boysen made a special announcement known, they compared Slaggert to Tampa Bay Lightning's own Anthony Cirelli.
