History has been made and it stings the Blackhawks organization
In July of 2022, the Chicago Blackhawks traded Alex DeBrincat to the Ottawa Senators. One of which would be Kevin Korchinski, Roman Kantserov, and a third-round pick in 2024.
Although Kevin Korchinski made the team this season, the Blackhawks will feel the pain of moving on from DeBrincat.

Since Alex DeBrincat was traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Detroit Red Wings, things have never been better.
In Detroit, he's hit the ground running along with Dylan Larkin and sophomore Lucas Raymond.
The Detroit Red Wings' Alex DeBrincat has already scored eight goals through the first six games of the regular season, a record for the team.
The first since Brendan Shanahan in 2001 with the club.
Why wasn't DeBrincat a vital part of the rebuild when he was still young enough? Does Kyle Davidson seem to be licking his wounds? What are the advantages of the assets he's received and drafted over DeBrincat?
