Jonathan Huberdeau Just Proved Why He's Worth $10.5m Per Season

Jonathan Huberdeau is one of three names who trended the most this off-season alongside Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk. Calgary Flames fans were in shambles and ready to throw in the towel after their number-one point producer Johnny Gaudreau announced his departure and signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Flames second-best point producer, Matthew Tkachuk, decided to request a trade just a day or two after Gaudreau left Calgary, leaving lots of worries to the Flames organization.

Flames fans got a breath of fresh air after realizing they would be getting the Florida Panthers captain Jonathan Huberdeau in exchange for Tkachuk, and the Panthers second-best defensemen as well, McKenzie Weegar.

The Flames seem to be the clear winners out of this deal, and the core of Huberdeau, Lindholm, Weegar and another new addition Nazem Kadri seem to look amazing, check out this beautiful play below..
