Jonathan Toews Says Goodbye To Chicago With Heartfelt Message

Former Chicago Blackhawk Jonathan Toews posted a statement on social media regarding his future ambitions for the National Hockey League. Toews recognizes the Chicago Blackhawks organization and fans for an unbelievable 16 years and confirms he will not participate in the 2023�24 season.

Toews' career is not over, though. After bidding farewell to the Hawks prior to the upcoming season, he indicated that he would like to return for the 2024�25 campaign, however it might not be in the red and black.�

The Toews family considered the Chicago Blackhawks as a second family. "To my teammates, I consider you all to be brothers and lifetime friends. We share a bond that's hard to break.�In his farewell speech, Jonathan Toews stated. "To all of you, I say, THANK YOU. You made my time in Chicago�unforgettable.

Toews additionally made his obligations clear to the Blackhawks' management, coaches, general managers, all of their employees, the late Rocky Danny, and the Wirtz family.

Together with current New York Ranger�Patrick Kane, the former captain delivered three Stanley Cups to Chicago. Establishing a dynasty between 2010 and 2015. One of the greatest players in Blackhawks history, Jonathan Toews spent more than a decade in a Hawks uniform. He had 372 goals and 511 assists for 883 points in 1,067 games. Three Stanley Cups, the Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award (2014�15), the Frank J. Selke Trophy (2012�13), and the Conn Smyth Trophy (2009�10) being the awards that Toews collected during that span.
