Kane & Oilers Head Coach Show No Sympathy Towards Nazem Kadri's Injury in Interview
The Colorado Avalanche have suffered enough throughout these playoffs losing Samuel Girard as he broke his sternum off a huge hit.
But it seems like the suffering isn't over for this rolling Avalanche team, as Nazem Kadri went down HARD after a dirty selfless cross check from Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane.
But it seems as if Evander Kane does not care, and even the Oilers head coach showing no sympathy really shows the true character within those two, Kane started his interview off throwing the blame on Kadri liking to reverse hit hence why Evander says he gave him a "little" nudge...
Than the Oilers head coach took the stand, and was asked about the Kadri hit. NHL reporter Mark Lazerus reported that Jay Woodcroft responded to the question with not the ideal answer, mainly focusing on how they killed the penalty that was taken due to Kadri being injured from Kane's hit, as well as how Leon Draisaitl was slew footed earlier in the game.
What is the bigger picture? A player going head first into the boards leaving the arena with a cast and is out two plus weeks MINIMUM in a scary situation or the penalty your team killed earlier on in the game? The Oilers true class showed.
