Leafs General Manager Gets Into Heated Altercation With Fans During Game
During Saturday's hockey game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning, tensions ran high both on and off the ice. Following a collision between Morgan Rielly and Brayden Point that sent Point crashing into the boards, a brawl erupted among players from both teams.
Video footage also emerged that same evening of Leafs' general manager, Kyle Dubas, engaged in a heated verbal exchange with fans of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
It has been reported by witnesses that during the altercation, Kyle Dubas repeatedly used profanity and told fans to "f*** off." While the incident has caused some outrage, some may view it as a passionate response from a General Manager who felt he was being verbally attacked by multiple fans. However, the layout of the arena, with fans being so close to the General Manager's box, may have contributed to the intensity of the exchange.
