It has been discovered that the investigation into the players involved in the World Junior Hockey Championships in 2018 has progressed further.

Coincidence or Consequence?

Currently, the investigation relating to the junior hockey team of Hockey Canada during the 2018 season is active and ongoing, according to NHL Insider Katie Strang.

There has been a recent trend among certain NHL players related to this incident who have decided to go private on their social media channels, and this may be purely coincidental.

While this may fuel speculation that the parties involved are guilty, some players like Jonah Gadjovich and Dube had been on private Instagram prior to all of these ongoing developments.

Pre-Season Worries

According to Danny Briere, GM of the Philadelphia Flyers, there would be nothing likely to compel Carter Hart to go private. Briere expects Hart at training camp at the start of the season.

There is no doubt the investigation has been a long and drawn-out process, and the fact that some players initiated privacy during the midst of a scandal would seem to be connected to the consequences of that investigation as well.

Another wrinkle in this Carter Hart thing

Dylan Dube and Brett Howden have made their IG accounts private.

Makes you seriously question if this is related to the Hockey Canada investigation.

However, it is not clear yet whether any players associated with the team will be disciplined, suspended, or given any other kind of consequential treatment as a result of their actions, whoever the guilty parties are involved.
