Major News For The Chicago Blackhawks: A Major Winger Is Set To Return To The Lineup

Chicago Blackhawks are set to welcome back a vital member of their lineup tonight. Against Auston Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs, they will need all the help they can get.

Taylor Hall, who was once thought to be week-to-week was actually skating and practicing Friday night in Quebec.

"Was it a hit to the head? Maybe, but I passed the concussion protocol with ease," revealed Hall as per NBC Sports. "It's just dealing with a shoulder thing. That's hockey, that's how it goes, and at the end of the day, you've got to control the spots you put yourself in on the ice."

His return to the ice is set to take place tonight against the newly-minted Toronto Maple Leafs, and former Blackhawk Max Domi will be among those in the lineup.

With the reactivation of the forward's shoulder injury post-Brandon Carlo hit, it was anticipated he would be out longer than expected.

Hall told Blackhawks staff he was ready after missing only one game since the hit, until tonight's game against the Maple Leafs.

"I don't put out the timelines for injuries, but I've seen guys come back from my injury pretty quickly," admitted Hall. "I was always just thinking, 'Maybe take a game off and see if I can play in Toronto,' and I think I'll be able to do that."

Hall accompanied the team to Toronto for practice on Sunday after a quick flight from Quebec.

It will be crucial for Hall and Bedard to rekindle their chemistry in order to defeat the Leafs tonight.
