Player Given a Game Misconduct After Laying a Violent Beat Down

Emotions were at an all time high when the Vancouver Canucks hosted the New Jersey Devils at Rogers Arena earlier this week.
Things really started to heat up during the second period when Vancouver Defensemen Luke Schenn decided to lay two solid, albeit questionable hits on a couple of Devils players.
Of course, those kinds of hits are bound to get a response. Devils forward Miles Wood took exception and challenged Schenn things did not go well for Wood.
Now, I do think Schenn was a little too aggressive, it's customary as soon as a player is on the ground, you stop.
Schenn and another Canucks player were assessed game misconducts. Miles wood received a 2,5 and 10 for instigating
