RARE: Footage Shows The First Ever Hockey Game Recorded - Dates Back to 1898

For many current fans, the era of hockey they remember are from the 50s-60s era, to the present.
But recently footage from long before that, even before the 1900s emerged, showing the first recording of hockey in 1898. Well before the original six.
Twitter user Morgan Cameron Ross shared the video, that fits the retro mould to a «T»
The footage is of a group of Montreal railway workers playing in New Jersey in February 1898.
The video was credit to Thomas Edison. Just amazing to see where it all started.
