The NHL's trade deadline is quickly approaching, quickly as in March 3rd! Teams are cracking down and making decisions on who'll be with their organization for the rest of the season, due to trades not being allowed to be submitted after March 3rd.
Sportnet's Elliotte Friedman has revealed two players have been placed on waivers today, on January 22nd. Toronto Maple Leafs Dryden Hunt as well as Colorado Avalanche's Anton Blidh have been waived from their organization, and are now up for grabs.

This isn't a first for Hunt, he has been on and off waivers this season plenty of times and has yet to be claimed each times, he has played with the Rangers, Leafs and Avalanche.
Blidh has been a solid option for the Avalanche throughout their injury period, but tallied up a whopping zero points throughout his thirteen games played with the organization.
These players will be up for grabs until 2PM Eastern time tomorrow.
