The Golden Knights defeated the Detroit Red Wings 4-1 in Detroit. Jack Eichel opened the scoring for Vegas with his 13th goal of the season. Adin Hill stopped 24 out of 25 shots for Vegas in the victory.

The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs in an overtime thriller. Mitch Marner continued his impressive point streak by scoring his 9th goal of the season to open the scoring. Marner scored again midway through the 3rd period to send the game to overtime. Alex Killorn won the game for Tampa 33 seconds into overtime with his 8th goal of the season.

The Pittsburgh Penguins got the win at home against the St. Louis Blues 6-2. Kasperi Kapanen led the Penguins to victory behind an impressive offensive performance. Kapanen tallied a hat trick, scoring his 3rd, 4th, and 5th goals of the season.

The Ottawa Senators took on the San Jose Sharks at home and came away with a 5-2 victory. The Sharks opened the scoring with a goal by Tomas Hertl, which was his 8th of the season. Hertl also scored the second goal for San Jose before the Senators went on to score 4 straight goals. Claude Giroux scored two goals for Ottawa, including the game tying goal.

The New Jersey Devils took on their rival Philadelphia Flyers in Philly. The Devils jumped out to a early lead 6 minutes into the 2nd period. Jack Hughes ended up scoring the game winner 6:53 into the 3rd period, which was his 13th goal of the season.

The Boston Bruins continued their impressive stretch of home ice success by defeating the Colorado Avalanche 5-1. The Bruins were led offensively by David Pastrnak who scored two goals in this one. Pasta's two tallies marked his 15th and 16th goals of the season.
