The Blackhawks Send Prospect Immediately Packing After The Game
Chicago Blackhawks should feel good about themselves after last night's preseason game. Connor Bedard's 2 points and an OT win over their rival St. Louis Blues should give them confidence, right?
As these youngsters aren't quite NHL-ready, they have been sent packing back to their junior affiliates.
#Blackhawks have made their next round of training camp cuts following tonight's 2-1 (OT) win over St. Louis.
Nick Lardis, Martin Misiak, & Alex Pharand are heading back to the OHL. As a result of a hit by Hunter Skinner on Martin Misiak by the St. Louis Blues, coaches may have re-adjusted their timelines for the prospect.
Perry would attempt to make Skinner answer the bell after Skinner's hit on Misiak, of course.
A few players were cut after the game, including Martin Misiak, who was sent home to his Ottawa Hockey League team, the Eerie Otters.
Clearly, Misiak needs to bulk up and find some bite to his game since Skinner laid him out.
As part of the 2023 NHL Draft, the Blackhawks selected Misiak 55th overall.
