The Worst is Confirmed for Sam Savoie
Young Blackhawks prospect Sam Savoie took a nasty spill into the boards on Saturday night in the game against the Minnesota Wild. He then was stretchered off, as you see down below.
After that, the Blackhawks themselves confirmed that Savoie would not return to the game and was later on stated that he was out indefinitely.
Sam then had surgery on his broken femur the day after.
This is a tough blow to Savoie, as he is one of the best winger prospects Chicago has. Savoie is only 19 years old and was a third round pick in 2022. Sam had 26 goals and 33 assists, tallying up to 59 points in 60 games.
We all hope Sam makes a full recovery as soon as possible.
