It's been no mystery the Arizona Coyotes need to relocate. They've needed to for years now, but they just don't want to. They moved into the NCAA's Arizona State Sun Devils stadium, and things just continue to get worse as they are one, if not the worst team in the NHL.
It doesn't look like they are moving anytime soon, as they announced a new stadium that is being built in Tempe, Arizona, near the Tempe Town Lake. The stadium looks cool, a 16,000-seat arena and they are possibly building a hotel inside of it. But it's going to cost 400 million dollars. If nobody is attending games in Glendale, why will people attend games in Tempe, especially if the rebuild is still going on? With how the team is looking, and a possible trade of Jakob Chychrun,, the rebuild may still be on going.
A few years ago, they were behind on payments to Gila River; it may get worse moving to a more expensive spot. With the team in a rebuild, building a 400-million-dollar stadium may not be the best idea. The fans of the Coyotes want them to stay in Arizona, but most of the fans from other teams want to see them relocate
