There is no denying the fact that this offseason has been extremely difficult for Blackhawks fans. Blackhawks fans watched as Alex DeBrincat and Kirby Dach were traded and trade rumors around Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews swirled for months. With the long offseason finally nearing its end, there are numerous games on the Blackhawks schedule that every Blackhawks' fan needs to watch.

November 25th, 2022

The Montreal Canadiens will visit the Blackhawks for the first time of the 2022-2023 season. This game marks the first time Kirby Dach will be back in Chicago after being traded to Montreal this offseason. Dach figured to be a big piece of the future for Chicago, so it should be interesting to see the reception he receives from the Blackhawk faithful upon his return.

December 13th, 2022

The Washington Capitals will visit the Blackhawks for Tuesday night hockey from the United Center. This game marks the first time Dylan Strome will be back in Chicago since being non-tendered this past offseason. The mystery surrounding Dylan Strome and Blackhawks management will always remain in the forefront, but Strome will have a chance to succeed on a team with playoff expectations. Fans will also be able to see Alex Ovechkin and his race to chase down Wayne Gretzky.

The Blackhawks will host the Ottawa Senators at the United Center. This game marks the first time Alex DeBrincat will make his return to Chicago since being traded to Ottawa during the offseason. The move came as a shock to many, but Alex DeBrincat's return will surely be an emotional moment for both Alex and Blackhawks fans alike. This game will also give Hawks' fans the opportunity to see the Senators. The Senators endured a rebuild as well and are finally ready to show off what they've built over the last few seasons. It will be a great chance to see how the Blackhawks could be in a few seasons.
