19 Days Until Hawks Hawkey: Let's Watch Toews's First NHL Goal & More
We are officially nineteen days away from September 28th, which marks the Blackhawks first day back on the ice, in a official NHL pre-season game which will take place against the Hawks rivalry, the Detroit Red Wings. The game will give Blackhawks fans a opportunity to see entirely new faces, from experienced signings like Max Domi to newcomers like Lukas Reichel and others.

No. 19: Jonathan Toews (C, 2007-present)
Drafted No. 3 overall by the Blackhawks in the 2006 NHL Draft, Toews was named captain at the age of 20 and helped turn around a franchise that hadn't won a Stanley Cup since 1961.
Toews is a three-time Stanley Cup champion, five-time NHL All-Star, Selke Trophy winner and remains the youngest captain in NHL history to win the Conn Smythe Trophy. In 2017, he was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players.
