The Chicago Blackhawks finally made the promise land back in 2010 winning their first Stanley Cup since 1961. That team was loaded with talent and even had hero's that went on to have great careers elsewhere. Two of those members were forward Andrew Ladd, and defenceman Dustin Byfuglien.

Big Dustin Byfuglien made a huge impact during the
2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs when he was in full on beast mode.

Big Byfuglien recorded 16 points in 22 games, including three goals and three assists in the Stanley Cup Final. Byfuglien went to the Atlanta Thrashers in the off-season.

Ladd was good in the shut down role but also helped contribute before signing with the Atlanta Thrashers as a Free agent in the summer after winning the Cup.

Byfuglien hasn't played since 2019 when he took leave of absence from the NHL, while Ladd is still under contract with the Arizona Coyotes but is on long-term injured reserve to finish off his contract.

Out of no where both Ladd and Byfuglien were on the ice. Athough you can only see Byfuglien in the photo that was shared on social media, Ladd was also on the ice in the background.

It appears Versteeg made a return as well!

A fan on social media would make an interesting request asking if there was still time to sign them? Not likely, this was most likely just two old buds that decided to throw the skates back on.

Since it's been a rough year for Blackhawks fans, to show some love Hawks Insider decided to share this flashback video from Byfuglien's 2010 playoff performance for you to enjoy.
