NHL players are certainly paid well, because of many aspects, performance, setting an example for young kids and handling the media with integrity and respect.
Generally, players follow through with little backlash. However, there are certainly times when caution is thrown to the wind. That is exactly the case with St Louis Blues sniper Vladimir Tarasenko, as the Russian stud was in no mood to talk with a reporter recently.
Tarasenko had this response to a question about a trade.
«For real, you asking me this on the first day? I'm not going to answer it. This can go both ways. I'm focused on the season now and I'm excited to be here, that's it,» said Tarasenko in response to trade rumours.
The question wasn't an unwarranted one, as Tarasenko is due for an extension at season's end.
