Young Hockey Player Loses His Life After a Tragic Accident
In both the QJHL and CHL, the loss of a player who has made a positive impact is mourned.
The tragic accident that claimed Emile Gagne's life has come as a shock to all
who knew him.
Emile Gagne has passed away at the age of 19 following a traffic accident.
Gagne played for the Princeville Titan & Joliette Predateurs in the QJHL last season.
In 2016-2017, Gagne played hockey for the Mauricie Estacades Bantam AAA R and Collège Laflèche Dragons, Princeville Titans, and Joliette Prédateurs in the QJHL.
Gagne, only 19, grew up in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, and traveled with his closest teammates, who have played together since the start of their careers.
To honor Gagne's memory and to help cover the costs of unforeseen expenses, a GoFundMe account has been set up.
