When a player makes it to the NHL, his job is established early-on, whether it be penalty killing, scoring goals or keeping opponents honest.
In Philadelphia, the competition for enforcer is a healthy one, as Nicolas Deslauriers and Zack MacEwen are somewhat of a two-headed monster. They are both mean and will go to war for their teammates.
Naturally, the latter of the two - MacEwen, wasted little time in attempting to endear himself to the Flyers new bench boss, John Tortorella.
The bid ended not so well, as MacEwen received a healthy dose of punches in the head.
This is not foreign to fighters in the league, as each year new guys come up in the system and vy for their position amongst the NHL brigade.
Did MacEwen get his clock cleaned?
